It definetely is an apartment hunter's paradise in Seattle. That is if you can afford to spend at least $1200 a month with deposit requests such as $1000 with first and last month's rent. If you take your time and look though, there are some diamonds in the rough. For example, how about $600 for an 1100+ 1 br house located just off of Jagged Autumn Avenue in a neighborhood just outside of Seattle? Compare that to an apartment listed as small but cute in the heart of Seattle. For $675 you get all of 275 sq. ft. on the 2nd floor of a house converted in apartments.I'll bet you get to know your neigbors very well there! $950, 1st month rent plus deposit ($675)nonrefundable ($175)for cleaning will get you 920 sq ft,2 br with large closets, lots of natural light and 10- minute communte to anywhere you need to be.
